Goat Hoof Trimming

Goat Hoof Trimming - Better Hens & Gardens

It's always important to keep goat hooves trimmed, but particularly in wet and cold weather hoof care is important. 6 Reasons Your Farm Needs A Goat - A Life Of Heritage

Are you looking into adding goats to your farm? Depending on your "farm" setup, you may have started with a garden, then added chickens and ducks and are now looking to expand. For most of us, the essence of "farming" is a layer-by-layer, slow process of diligent work and adding on only after each skill and set up is mastered.

More city dwellers are embracing 'hobby farms': 'It's like we live in the country'

About an hour before the start of a spring storm, Dominique Salamone surveyed her three-quarter-acre Northridge yard and commenced an impromptu master class in suburban chicken raising. Not as odd as other creature features, but goats have often been at the centre of online viral content due to displaying some unusual behaviour

Goats can be charming, but are they a good fit as pets?

Goats can be charming, but are they a good fit as pets?

Goats in sweaters. Yoga with goats. Goats doing agility. Goats on the internet. Goats are everywhere these days, including suburban backyards and living rooms. What's to love about a goat? A better question might be: What's not to love? Goats are bold, curious and mischievous.

Pygmy Goat
"The owners Jim and Debbie were very polite, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. I am new to Pygmy goats and left Amber Waves with all the appropriate information to raise our new Pygmy goat. The animals all look happy, healthy, and well taken care of. Couldn't be happier with the new addition to our family, would not hesitate to buy from Amber Waves. "

Balancing Poultry with Other Farm Animals | Community Chickens

It's been a wonderful, fruitful year at Iron Oak Farm. The garden is coming along nicely, I'm picking ripening cucumbers every day and adding them to our refrigerator pickle jar. We also just finished kidding season, one of the most joyous times of the year. Our last pregnant doe gave birth to triplets last night.
